Looks like Lara is very close to active labor. A lot of pain and pressure, which is not letting up. She’s on nitrous. This came just after 5:00. Midwife Margaret and nurse Elizabeth and here. Lara my smack the midwife if she keeps giving encouragement. She went from 2.5cm to 4.5cm in about 30 minutes.

Lara is resting. She initially received relatively low levels of Pitocin, also known as Oxytocin, periodically throughout the night; however, that dose has increased.
