Day Twenty

Welcome home Jaxon Fife Myers!

Thank you all for your love and kindness during our first journey. Jaxon is a fine little person who will sleep and eat, unlike his parents, over the next six or so weeks. Hopefully, our biggest challenge will be keeping the cats at bay and finding new and creative ways to stay awake.

Depending on our collective level of sanity, Lara and I may let you know what happens to us and Jaxon during the first few days at home. It’s not that we don’t want to share, it’s just that our brains, mouths and fingers may not work.

Reads: “Peace out NICU, I’m moving in with my parents” Thank you Julie and Sara!

I’ll do my best to let you know have things are and if we need any help. We may be slow in responding to your texts and we may not be Zoom-ready for a bit, as some of you may have asked or expected.

We look forward to showing you our sunshine and look forward to sharing this special time with you.

Thank you.

Love You Baby Jaxon♡. Can’t wait to hold you. Love, Your Grandmama Vicky.

This low tech grandma has finally figured out how to post a reply. Welcome home, Jaxon. You are blessed with awesome and loving parents. Thank you, Randall for keeping us informed of the miraculous journey of Jaxon into the loving arms of his parents and into their home. It warms my heart to see your happy family. Enjoy that beautiful baby and get some rest in between caring for and being awed by him.

Lara how are you already an expert at putting clothes on a new born? Impressive. Way to go parents. So happy he’s home.
