Running Late

Hey there. Typically, the blog that you see here is something that I work on over the week. The diatribes and long-form stories take some time to build, not that much as I no longer have that sort of time. Most times, I jot down thoughts about the things Lara and I experience during each week. I remove the cursing and gnashing of teeth and add try to add a little humor. I take pictures, make videos – this can all be somewhat of a production. I don’t mind this but because it’s therapeutic to me and hopefully entertaining and informative for you.

With all that goes into this blog, I was bound to miss a deadline. I’m running late this week.

Part of this tardiness is a result of exhaustion – things you already know about if you glance back to other posts. This week just had a lot more happening in it, which I’ll discuss in a subsequent post. I’ll try to get something out later this weekend but you know, may later.

Generally, Jaxon is okay, just not sleeping very well and vomiting more frequently. While he’s gaining weight, Lara and I have some concerns. We are still holding on to sanity however, thanks to friends and family. While I’ll get into more details later, I have a special, special thanks for Kim Daulton who helped to give Lara and I about six hours of night sleep.
